Beijing seriously surprised us in the best way possible.<\/p>\n
We kicked things off by finding a hidden all-you-can-eat dumpling buffet where you cook the dumplings yourself!! and somehow the total came out to $6. Unlimited fillings, endless dumplings, and honestly way better than we expected.<\/p>\n
After stuffing ourselves, we checked off a bucket-list moment: the Great Wall of China. And yes\u2026 we took the toboggan slide all the way back down because obviously that\u2019s the correct choice.<\/p>\n
For dinner, we headed to Siji Minfu, one of Beijing\u2019s most famous Peking duck restaurants. Crispy skin, juicy meat, pancakes, sauces.. this lived up to the hype.<\/p>\n
Day two took us to a seriously cool spot known for lamb skewers, but here\u2019s the twist, you grill them yourself on a rotating rotisserie built right into the table. It\u2019s hands-on, smoky, and ridiculously fun.<\/p>\n
We wrapped the trip with a classic: Chinese hot pot at Coucou Hot Pot Beijing. Rich broths, endless dipping sauces, thin-sliced meats, and that cozy chaos that makes hot pot so good.<\/p>\n
From street food to iconic sights, Beijing was way more approachable, delicious, and fun than we expected especially for a first timer.<\/p>\n
