I Tried China’s Most Local Breakfast 🇨🇳

In this video, I head out on a DIY Chongqing breakfast street food tour to discover what locals really eat in the morning. No guide, no translator, just solo travel in one of China’s biggest megacities.

I try everything from savory and sweet porridge to freshly made buns, soy milk, sesame rice balls stuffed with youtiao, sticky brown sugar cake, blanket noodles, and finally a crispy shaobing to finish the morning.

But today isn’t about hotpot. It’s about Chongqing street food and traditional China breakfast dishes that most tourists never see.
