Eating the Chinese burger in its birthplace

A lot of Westerners tell me I eat rudely on camera. Lip smacking. Mouth open. Talking while chewing.

Here in China? That’s the sound of respect. It means the food is awesome.

So I’m going to eat this Roujiamo—the legendary Chinese burger from Shaanxi—exactly how it was meant to be. Loud. Messy. In its birthplace.

If that triggers you, I’m sorry. But maybe ask yourself why your manners are the only ones that count.
